Memorial Jewellery

I remember so clearly the very first time I was asked to make memorial jewellery.  Treasure Box had been making keepsakes for quite a few years already.

It was for the Mummy of an angel baby. And it broke my heart.
I couldn’t even begin to imagine how much her heart was breaking.  This made me determined to make their hand print pendant as beautiful as possible.

When the tiny print arrived in my studio I struggled and failed to hold back the tears.
The driving force for starting my own keepsake business was to capture forever memories families. The milestone moments, the special occasions and so far these has all been happy keepsakes. 

Memorial jewellery is the most emotional and final memory anyone can capture of a loved one.
From angel babies, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, mums, dads, grandparents and friends, to treasured pets.  Whether that’s fingerprints, hand, foot, paw print, handwriting or ashes.

Even after all these years it is impossible not to feel emotional when I am contacted about making memorial jewellery and every new commission feels like an absolute honour to be asked to create.
